Viaguard's clinically precise test for 16 drugs and metabolites provides an easy to read result in about two minutes. The test uses state of the art antigen/antibody technology, in a lateral immunoassay procedure. The test will show a positive result for substances present above the set cut-off limit that has been established by world health organizations and allows for environmental exposure and extremely infrequent use. Lateral immunoassay tests indicate a level of substance present in urine based on use of substances in a previous (approximate) 72 hour period.If you wish to obtain a precise quantitative level of use, the enclosed clip on card and instructions will allow you to take and submit a small hair sample which will be analysed by GC-MS and specify at what level any substances have been used at over the preceding 90 day period of time. This sample can also be used to determine the exact average level of alcohol consumption over that period of time. The fee for submitting a hair sample for drug analysis is $195.00 and for alcohol consumption $275.00 or for doing both tests combined $400.00. This fee can be submitted if a hair sample is sent for testing.Directions for useCollect a urine sample in a clean glass or cup. You will need about one to one and a half inches of urine in depth. Open the sealed cassette pouch, remove the cassette and take off the cap exposing the wicks. Insert the wicks for about 10 seconds in the urine but do not allow the urine to make contact with the plastic casing. The wicks need only be inserted to about a half or two thirds of their length in urine. Withdraw the cassette from the urine as soon as a pink colour starts to appear in the panels, this will happen within ten seconds. Lay the cassette on a clean dry service for about two minute. The test results in each panel will then appear.
